Visual Art Workshops for Schools: Printing

Printing can be set up as a workshop in its own right or used as a method in relation to others such as banner making and pop art. The workshop can also be adapted to deal with specific curriculum-based projects or themes. As well as simple relief printing to produce images on card or fabric (as pictured above), a popular alternative is using recycled materials to print. This can be particularly good to encourage children to experiment to create shapes and patterns that do not rely on drawing skills. As with other workshops, emphasis is placed on acquiring new skills and then researching and planning prior to the production of a final piece.

Booking Procedure

First Step:
If you are interested in any of the workshops listed then please make contact by phone or email. You are under no obligation at this stage and we would be pleased to discuss your requirements and provide more detail about any of the workshops.
If you can’t find exactly what you are looking for, it is usually possible to customise a workshop to your requirements.
Email Nikki at nikki.kendrickhill@tiscali.co.uk or phone
